Frequently asked questions
How do I convert text to title case?
Paste the text into the input box and the title-cased version appears instantly in the result box. Copy it or download it as a .txt file.
What exactly does title case do?
The first letter of every word becomes uppercase and the remaining letters become lowercase. Hello WORLD becomes Hello World.
How are names with apostrophes handled?
An apostrophe does not restart the word, so o'brien becomes O'brien rather than O'Brien. Hyphenated words capitalize both parts: well-known becomes Well-Known.
Does it handle accents and non-English letters?
Yes. Conversion is Unicode-aware, so café naïve becomes Café Naïve. Emoji, numbers and punctuation pass through unchanged.
Will it remove my line breaks?
No. Line breaks, tabs and multiple spaces are preserved exactly. Only letter case changes.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion runs in your browser with JavaScript and nothing is sent to a server. Inputs under 200 KB are kept in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back.
